Human experience is a unique one. It is filled with conflict and harmony. Ever since we have come down from the trees, we have been in constant struggle with our surroundings. As the surroundings have expanded, so have impacts of these struggles. Technology has been an integral part of human existence. Ever since we started using our hands we have been creating technology. This creation and usage of technology separates us from other lower animals. Technology has helped us expand to and flourish in every part of the planet. It has helped us in finding about our ancestors. It has helped us in creating a record of our collective experience, which we all fondly call History.

Apart from History, Future also holds great interest for us. Five hundred years ago, no one could have predicted that we will be flying around in planes. In the same way it is very difficult for us to predict what will happen in the future. But, this does not stop us from thinking about the future. We Humans have a great interest in the future.
