Secret of life lies in physics, not in chemistry or biology. The phenomenon of life is made possible by the DNA molecule. It is also called the living molecule. The DNA is a double helix structure. It is shaped like a common ladder with the genes making the rungs of the ladder. Genes produce proteins and enzymes which make life possible. There is another molecule called RNA. It is not a double helix, but it also has genes. RNA synthesizes proteins and acts as messenger. Life is interaction of genes with other elements.

You see the genes and other molecules are complex molecules. They are primarily made of hydrogen nitrogen and oxygen, phosphorus etc. Each of these elements possesses various electrons that they exchanged with the each other to make compounds. These exchanges cause small disturbances in the electronic charge of these molecules. It is these disturbances which result in the phenomenon of life. Think of them like falling Dominoes, the only difference is that these dominoes can stand up on their own again. Just like in real dominoes the disturbance is carried over to the whole chain. But in this case, the dominoes stand up again after some time. Thus these disturbances keep on going from one end to the other. The nature of these disturbances is such that they want to keep going. Hence no sooner one disturbance ends another is started. And collectively, and these disturbances give rise to what we know as life. If the disturbances are broken organism will die. Once that happens the disturbances cannot be started again. This is true for single cell as well as multi-cell organisms. However there is one perplexing problem.

For example, viruses are the most primitive life form. They can survive for a long time. Viruses need a living body to live and breed. I is usually referred to as a host. Viruses cannot live outside the host. So they are totally dead when they are outside their hosts. But when they come in contact with their host, they spring back to life. So somehow, the reaction for life, the disturbance that we say it is, can be started from the dead. Nature does this every single day millions of times. What this means is that in theory and in practice it is possible to bring a dead cell back to life again. This means that if you know about life, you can bring a dead person back to life again. Profound! Isn’t it? This may seem science-fiction at this moment, but it may become a reality in time. Once we have unlocked the secret of life, the next step will be to defeat the death.

This is my personal theory. In year 2200 Scientists come to the same conclusion.
